Vitamix Professional Series 750 Blender - Made in USA
Vitamix Professional Series 750 Blender - Made in USA

Sadly, it seems there are not many small appliances made in free countries anymore, so it is fitting that the GOAT of blenders is Made in USA.
We use our Vitamix Professional Series 750 blender mostly for smoothies, but it often doubles as a food processor and we have even used it once to make hot soup (not kidding, potato soup, the recipe came with the blender). Overall, we love the design, quality, and reliability of the machine. Every surface and control feels like it will last forever.
It has a low profile that fits under our kitchen cabinets but our favorite feature is the self-cleaning setting which allows you to fill the container halfway with water, add a drop of dish soap, and then run it through a cleaning cycle after which you need only rinse the container.
Th Professional Series is definitely made in USA, but we see that the lower-priced Explorian and Ascent models are American-made too. As always, make sure you check the “SPECS” tab in the Sur La Table store to confirm a product is made in a free country.
About USA: Britain's American colonies broke with the mother country in 1776 and were recognized as the new nation of the United States of America following the Treaty of Paris in 1783. During the 19th and 20th centuries, 37 new states were added to the original 13 as the nation expanded across the North American continent and acquired a number of overseas possessions. The two most traumatic experiences in the nation's history were the Civil War (1861-65), in which a northern Union of states defeated a secessionist Confederacy of 11 southern slave states, and the Great Depression of the 1930s, an economic downturn during which about a quarter of the labor force lost its jobs. Buoyed by victories in World Wars I and II and the end of the Cold War in 1991, the US remains the world's most powerful nation state. Since the end of World War II, the economy has achieved relatively steady growth, low unemployment and inflation, and rapid advances in technology. (From the CIA World Factbook, 5/2022)
